Welcome to my website!
My name is Beata Ankowska. I am a freelance makeup artist based in London. I was born in Poland, but my last 7 years I spent in London studying and practising my makeup skills.
I absolutely love making people over, especially when clients look in the mirror and say wow!
I always loved to observe how people look like, what clothes or makeup they are wearing, studying if everything fits together or what I would possibly change. And that is where my interest in makeup began.
I did a course for a visage and style consultant, and a fashion makeup techniques course. Those two in the beginning of my career gave me a basic knowledge of makeup, which I could already practice in the industry. When my fascination reached a higher level I decided to expand my knowledge and did a Beauty Therapy Diploma and HND Specialist Makeup. The last one brings me a deeper understanding of makeup techniques and products, but also educate me in aribrushing makeup, body painting and hair styling. On second year of HND course I developed basic knowledge of cutting and sewing. Thanks to this I can now arrange shooting plans with my own costumes, makeup and hair and this is what I love the most!!!
As makeup trends are always changing and each individual has different needs, I don't limit myself to certain style and love to experiment with new projects and ideas.
